Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." [Acts 4:12]

BELIEVER'S PERSONAL SENSE OF DESTINY!

Now we study about the life of Joshua. Joshua (Hebrew: יְהוֹשֻׁעַ‎ Yehoshua; Greek: Iησος, same as Jesus; Latin: Josue or Jesus in Hebrews; Arabic: يشع بن نون‎ Yusha‘ ibn Nūn), according to the Hebrew Bible, became the leader of the Israelite tribes after the death of Moses. His story is told chiefly in the books Exodus, Numbers and Joshua. According to the Bible, Joshua's name was Hoshea the son of Nun, of the tribe of Ephraim, but that Moses called him Joshua, (Numbers 13:16) and that is the name by which he is commonly known. He was born in Egypt prior to the Exodus, and was probably the same age as Caleb, with whom he is occasionally associated.

He was one of the twelve spies of Israel sent by Moses to explore the land of Canaan.

“And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,Send thou men, that they may search the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel: of every tribe of their fathers shall ye send a man, every one a ruler among them. And Moses by the commandment of the LORD sent them from the wilderness of Paran: all those men were heads of the children of Israel.
And these were their names: of the tribe of Reuben, Shammua the son of Zaccur.
Of the tribe of Simeon, Shaphat the son of Hori.
Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh.
Of the tribe of Issachar, Igal the son of Joseph.
Of the tribe of Ephraim, Oshea the son of Nun.
Of the tribe of Benjamin, Palti the son of Raphu.
Of the tribe of Zebulun, Gaddiel the son of Sodi.
Of the tribe of Joseph, namely, of the tribe of Manasseh, Gaddi the son of Susi.
Of the tribe of Dan, Ammiel the son of Gemalli.
Of the tribe of Asher, Sethur the son of Michael.
Of the tribe of Naphtali, Nahbi the son of Vophsi.
Of the tribe of Gad, Geuel the son of Machi.
These are the names of the men which Moses sent to spy out the land. And Moses called Oshea the son of Nun Jehoshua”(Num 13:1-16).

After the death of Moses, he lead the Israelite tribes in the conquest of Canaan, and allocated the land to the tribes. The years in which these events took place is subject to academic dispute. According to conventional Bible chronology, Joshua lived between 1450 – 1370 BC, or sometime in the late Bronze Age. According to Joshua 24:29, Joshua died at the age of 110.

Joshua also holds a position of respect to Muslims; the Shi'ah believes he was an Imam.
The English name Joshua is a rendering of the Hebrew: יהושע‎ "Yehoshua," meaning "Yahweh is salvation", from the Hebrew root ישע, "salvation," "to deliver/be liberated," or "to be victorious." It often lacks a Hebrew letter vav (ו) before the shin (ש), allowing a reading of the vocalization of the name as Hoshea (הוֹשֵׁעַ) - the name is described in the Torah as having been originally Hoshea before Moses added the divine name (Numbers 13:16).

"Jesus" is the rendition in English of the Greek transliteration of "Yehoshua". In the Septuagint, all instances of "Yehoshua" are rendered as "Iησοuς" (Iēsoūs/Jesus), the closest Greek pronunciation of the Hebrew. Joshua an old testament prophet was a young man chosen by God through Moses to be his assistant "And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle"(Exo 33:11).

He was a Military genius, trusted in the Lord and didn’t give an evil report like the majority of the spies did in the Israel.

Today the Israel Intelligence The Mossad (HaMossad leModi'in uleTafkidim Meyuchadim,

Hebrew: המוסד למודיעין ולתפקידים מיוחדים‎ - Institute for Intelligence and Special Operations) is the national intelligence agency of Israel. "Mossad" is the Hebrew word for institute or institution.
The Mossad is responsible for intelligence collection and covert operations including paramilitary activities. It is one of the main entities in the Israeli Intelligence Community, along with Aman (military intelligence) and Shin Bet (internal security), but its director reports directly to the Prime Minister. Its role and function is similar to that of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the Secret Intelligence Service (SIS).

The Institute for Intelligence and Special Operations, otherwise known as the Mossad, has been appointed by the State of Israel to collect information, analyze intelligence, and perform special covert operations beyond its borders. The Main Bible Verse by which the Mossad is based on

"Where no counsel is, the people fall, but in the multitude of counselors there is safety"(Proverbs 11:14).

Over the years, the Mossad has expanded into many fields, the most prominent of which are:

1.Covert intelligence gathering beyond Israel’s borders.

2.Preventing the development and procurement of non-conventional weapons by hostile countries. Preventing terrorist acts against Israeli targets abroad.

3.Developing and maintaining special diplomatic and other covert relations.

4.Bringing Jews home from countries where official Aliya agencies are not allowed to operate.

5.Producing strategic, political and operational intelligence.

6.Planning and carrying out special operations beyond Israel’s borders.

A Word by Mossad's Director:

[The State of Israel has tasked the Mossad with collecting intelligence and performing special covert operations abroad. Its job is to identify and block threats to the state and its citizens, and to reinforce the country's security and safety.

It is a special privilege to serve in the Mossad and I am especially privileged to serve as its director. People enrolling in the Mossad join generations of anonymous and dedicated combatants and intelligence officers who are loyal and devoted to their people and country.
The Mossad's mainstay is its people. They are the very heart of the Mossad. They are its prime movers. They are from the front operational line.

People serving in the Mossad are required to give to Israel of their talents, their dedication and their courage. The Mossad's people are always aware of their goals; they maintain confidentiality and serve with modesty and loyalty.

I wish you every success.

Meir Dagan
Director, Mossad

Most of the US and European nations trust cent percent of Mossads intelligence. It happened during the NDA government the BJP leader LK Advani had been to Israel nation to be trained to strengthen the Indian intelligence agencies.Even the present Congress government even made similar measures by PM Manmohan Singh. Most of the Indian Intelligence agencies of India is closely working with Mossad's to tackle the problem of growing Terrorism in India.Even in Mumbai attacks last year most of the Jewish people were targeted by the terrorists at Nariman Point (Chabad House) in this regard to create phobia in the hearts of India-Israel relationship. The Israeli government responded quickly to counter attack the terrorist activities at Mumbai ,however the Indian NSG had fought very well with terrorists. The Israel as a tiny nation not more than at least the geographical structure of Ananthapur (Dist) of AP, India is strong among its Islamic foes in its military might and spying network.

A strong spying network of a nation results to be a safe and secure nation. A weakened spying network of a nation results to be a weakened safety and security of a nation.

We see Joshua was a “Stand in the gap” individual who went against the majority. This prepared him to fulfill his personal sense of destiny.Infact because of his faithfulness Joshua was one of the few survivors of the exodus generation (Num 26:55).His Divine Bestowed vision and personal sense of destiny was to lead the children of Israel into the Promise land and to establish them as a united nation for the glory and honor of the Almighty God. Today God is calling Young wo/men to be the leaders for fulfilling the personal sense of destiny. As a part of it the lord confirmed Joshua before the people as his new Leader (Jos 1:1-9).3 times in the above verses the following phrase “Only be strong and Very courageous” is used.

"Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest"(Josh 1:9).

The Lord Now utilizing the skill and obedience of Joshua to lead the people in a conquest of the land (Jos 6:1-12:24).As a part of our personal sense of destiny, the Lord waits to develop always the use of those spiritual skills and then he guides us and uses us to fulfill His will.Spiritual skills must always precede production skills such as 1.Technical Skills 2.Interpersonal skills 3.Diagnose skills 4.Conceptual skills and very importantly the 5.Political Skill. The life and book of Joshua as the inspiration for us in the spiritual realm. The Exodus generation is a photograph of the loser believer in the present age.As such the teachings regarding it constitute a warning to us!

"Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted"(I Cor 10:6).

"Now all these things happened unto them for examples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come" (I Cor 10:11).

However the next generation, which we can call the conquest generation is a photograph of the winner believer in the mystery dispensation of the church –age. The conquest generation depicts by anology the winner believer who after conflictFinally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

"Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand"(Eph 6:10-13) “Stands” to receive the great assets and blessings which were placed on deposit for him in the highest heavens in eternity past by God the Father.

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ"(Eph 1:3).

"For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel"(Col 1:5).

Now Israel, under Joshua’s Command who in turn was under the command of the Lord Jesus Christ was commanded to go forward and dispose seven nations before the possessing the Land. These seven Evil nations are anoalogous to seven assaults against the believers soul in the present dispensation. These are found in (Joshua 3:10) "And Joshua said, Hereby ye shall know that the living God is among you, and that he will without fail drive out from before you the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Hivites, and the Perizzites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Jebusites".The seven nations are analogous to the battles which take place in the soul after we go forward into our own promise land and receive escrow blessings for both time and eternity. A quick review:
1) CANAANITES: Analogous with the sin nature competing for control of the soul !

"That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;"(Eph 4:22).

2) HITTITES: Analogous to the Cosmic systems competing for influence of the soul!

"Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience" (Eph 2:2).

"Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world" (I John 2:15-16).

3) HIVITES: An analogy of satan or the devil and his plan and demonic attack made upon the Soul!

"Neither give place to the devil. Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth".(Eph 4:27-28).

4) PERIZZITES: Analogous to false doctrines assaulting against the soul!

"That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;"(Eph 4:14). They are like prosperity theology, Holier than thou, Hypocrisy, Self righteous and Disobedient to authority Orientation.

5) GIRGASHITES:BeingUnwise, wasting time and Alcoholic lifestyle filled with fear!

"Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;"(Eph 5:16-18).

6) AMORITES: Represent external adversities of all kinds of suffering which can overwhelm the soul’s line of resistance if allowed!

"Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory" (Eph 3:13).

7) JEBUSITES: Represent Carnal believers who are suckers for the public lie and its union with public opinion leading to strong delusion!

"Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another" (Eph 4:25).

"Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness"(II Thess 2:9-12).So We should not associate with the liars.

So a few principles concerning the Analogies:

A. Bible Doctrine in its “Epignosis” form produces the necessary power and resistance against these fronts (Josh 1:8-9; Eph 1:8; 4:11-16; 6:10-18).

B. The “Promise Land” (Josh 1:2-3) is analogous to “All Spiritual blessings in the heavenly places with Christ Jesus” (Eph 1:3).

C. Confidence and courage from doctrine precedes successful conflict, conquest and possession of what was promised (Josh 1:6-18).

"And she said unto the men, I know that the LORD hath given you the land, and that your terror is fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you."(Josh 2:9).

E. Authority –Orientation is imperative for preparation for conquest and is also needed in the church-age.

"There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper withersoever thou goest. This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest"(Joshua 1:5-9).

BREAKTHROUGH!

God wants to give you a breakthrough—a sudden burst of His favor; an explosion of His goodness. He wants to release His power in such a way that it overwhelms you and drives out your enemies! Maybe you have been praying about a marital relationship for years, and suddenly, things get into place. That’s a breakthrough. Or you were trying to get a certain job of your choice. They said there were no openings; but suddenly, they call you back with invitation and you get the job. That’s another breakthrough. Perhaps you have struggled with no promotions/Increments for a long time, but then something happens and it’s not a struggle anymore. Those are all breakthroughs. No matter what you’ve been facing, no matter how impossible things look, know this: the God of the breakthrough wants to visit your house. Get ready! Look for His favor and goodness. Remember, God rewards the people who seek after Him. So keep expecting, keep believing because the God of the breakthrough is ready to overwhelm you with His goodness today! Bible say in 2 Samuel 5:20 “…the Lord has broken through my enemies before me, like the bursting out of great waters…” Prayer for Today: Father in heaven, today I am expecting Your goodness. I am looking for Your favor. I’m trusting that You, the God of the breakthrough, are working mightily on my behalf. Help me to live a life pleasing to You as I wait for Your hand of invitation to move mightily in my life. In Jesus Name, Amen!

NOR BY MIGHT; NOR BY POWER; BUT BY THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD!

A man was walking down a deserted Mexican beach at sunset. As he walked along he began to see another man in the distance. As he grew nearer he noticed that the local native kept leaning down, picking something up, and throwing it out into the water. Time and again he kept hurling things out into the ocean. As our friend approached even closer he noticed that the man was picking up starfish that had washed up onto the beach, and one at a time, he was throwing them back into the ocean. The first man was puzzled. He approached the man and said, "Good Evening Friend, I was wondering what are you doing?" And he replied, "I'm throwing these starfish back into the ocean. You see, its low tide right now and all these starfish have been washed up onto the shore. If I don't throw them back into the sea, they will die from the lack of oxygen." "I understand," my friend replied "but there must be thousands of starfish on this beach and you couldn't possibly get to all of them. There are simply too many and don't you realize that this is happening on hundreds of beaches up and down this coast ... can't you see that that you can't possibly make a difference? The local native smiled, bent down, picked up yet another starfish ... and as he threw it back out into the sea, he replied, "It made a difference to that one!" You may feel like you cannot make a difference in the world today, but you CAN make a difference in one life at a time. Never underestimate your own efforts. You too could make a difference. Don't ask what the world could do for you; seek what you could do to the world. Many times we may not be recognized but the Almighty God will surely recognize us and bountifully reward us in His time and as per His plan on this planet earth and also in the eternity.

I started my ministry with 0 Rupees and with 0 People [means by faith],Even there was times when no people is there,God told me to speak to the walls, I thought nothing would workout without capital and nothing would make a difference. Today God proved me wrong he is changing people and making a difference in the lives of people.

Its not by money, nor by power, nor by might but by the spirit of the Lord!

“Actions we think are small & insignificant are big to God."Whoever can be trusted with little can be trusted with much" [Lk16:10]-Psr Rick Warren.

"You will be my Witnesses" (Acts 1:8).

A woman stands before judge and jury, places one hand on the Bible and the other in the air, and makes a pledge. For the next few minutes, with God as her helper, she will “tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.” She is a witness. Her job is not to expand upon nor dilute the truth. Her job is to tell the truth. Leave it to the legal counsel to interpret. Leave it to the jury to resolve. Leave it to the judge to apply. But the witness, The witness speaks the truth. Let her do more or less and she taints the outcome. But let her do that - let her tell the truth- and justice has a chance. The Christian, too, is a witness. We, too, make a pledge. Like the witness in court, we are called to tell the truth. The bench may be absent and the judge unseen, but the Bible is present, the watching world is the jury, and we are the primary witnesses. We are subpoenaed by no less than Jesus himself: "You will be my witnesses" (Acts 1:8). And like witnesses in a court, we are called to testify, to tell what we have seen and heard. And we are to speak truthfully. Our task is not to whitewash nor bloat the truth, but to exactly speak out as it is. There is, however, one difference between the witness in court and the witness for Christ. The witness in court eventually steps down from the witness chair, but the witness for Christ never does. For the Christian, Non-Evangelical attitude is never an option. It wasn't an option for Jesus. So, we should take a step to speak out the truth and be witnesses for Christ.

THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD !

A Sunday school teacher asked her children if anyone could quote the entire 23rd Psalm. A golden-haired, four-and-a-half-year-old girl was among those who raised their hands. A bit skeptical, the teacher asked if she could really quote the entire psalm. The little girl came to the front of the room, faced the class, made a perky little bow, and said, "The Lord is my shepherd, that's all I want" She bowed again and went and sat down. That may well be the greatest interpretation of the 23rd Psalm ever heard. King David, himself a former shepherd, begins this Psalm with, "The Lord is my shepherd, immediately putting himself as a sheep in the care of Jesus Christ (who is the same being as the Lord of the Old Testament-see John 1:1-3, 14 and Heb. 1:2). This analogy of Christ as a shepherd and His chosen ones as sheep, is reinforced in several scriptures, especially in John 10, John 21:15-17 and Hebrews 13:20. The shepherd is the provider and protector of his flock. The sheep are helpless without him. Similarly, human existence is a sinful, carnal experience without God in our lives (John 5:30; Rom. 8:6-11). Continuing with, "I shall not want," David indicates here that as a sheep in Christ's care, he was confident that he would lack nothing. This sentiment is repeated in Psalms 34:9-10, and clearly indicates David's understanding in regards to putting God and God's way first in his life (see Matthew 6:25-34). He goes on to write, "He makes me to lie down in green pastures: he leads me beside the still waters." Both the "green pastures" and "still waters" indicate a blessed abundance, further illustrating the benefits of a God-led life. Friends that little girl's words are true, "The Lord is my shepherd, that's all I want."

GOING FORWARD TO FULLFILL HIS PERFECT WILL!

Consider an oak tree. If you plant it in a pot, its growth will be limited. Once its roots fill that pot, it can grow no further. The problem is not with the tree; it is with the environment. It is stifling growth. Perhaps you have bigger things in your heart than your present environment can facilitate. That’s why God will stir you out of a comfortable situation. When you go through persecution and rejection, it’s not always because somebody has it in for you. Sometimes, that’s God’s way of directing you into his perfect will. He’s trying to get you to stretch to the next level. He knows you’re not going to go without a push, so he’ll make it uncomfortable for you to stay where you are currently. The mistake we make at times is getting negative and sour; we focus on what didn’t work out. When we do that, we inhibit the opening of new doors. There are people who have experienced rejection in their personnel relationships. They put all those years into it and now they’re hurt, dejected, going around defeated and not expecting anything good. Unfortunately, sometimes it is unavoidable just because somebody rejected you or walked out of your life and left you hurt, that doesn’t mean that you should retreat and settle where you are. That rejection did not change what God put on the inside of you. It doesn't mean that you cannot yet be happy. When one door closes, if you will keep the right attitude, God will open another door. But you have to do your part and keep pressing forward.

"Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all" [Psalms 34:19].

HELLO! I HAVE THE DNA OF YESHUA!

My Boss is a Jewish Carpenter from Nazareth-Israel of Asia!.

You must have heard about the famous racehorses, the kind you might see at the Kentucky Derby or other prestigious horse races. Did you ever think how much time, effort, and resources go into the making of one of those championship horses? There are not ordinary horses; these are thoroughbreds (The Thoroughbred is a horse breed best known for its use in horse racing). They have generation after generation of winners on the inside. These horses have been carefully studied and bred for generations. In horse racing, the “blood stock agent” focuses his attention on the animal’s bloodline. They might spend months to do such a research. Simply to breed one of these world champion thoroughbreds can cost to half a million dollars. And there’s no guarantee that the colt will win. The uninformed observer might say, “Those poor owners wasted their money. That horse couldn’t win anything. He looks like an average, ordinary horse.” But the owners know that on the inside, in his blood, that colt has a legacy of championship genes. It’s all in the blood. That’s why the owners are not necessarily concerned about the colt’s initial weakness. They don’t care what color he is, how pretty he is, or even how large he is. They know that deep down on the inside, that colt has the blood of a winner.  Friend, this is how God looks at you and me. Our external appearance is irrelevant. It doesn’t matter what color your skin is what’s your ethnic background is. It doesn’t matter how many weaknesses or flaws you have. You have the DNA of the Almighty God. You come from a long line of champions. On the inside of you are seeds of greatness. Take a better look at your bloodline. That’s why you must quit focusing on your weaknesses and get a bigger vision for your life. Understand that God sees you already at the Winner’s Circle.

"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God" [John 1:12-13].

PRAY LIKE LITTLE CHILDREN!

1. Your thumb is nearest to you. So begin your prayers by praying for those closest to you. They are the easiest to remember. To pray for our loved ones is, as C. S. Lewis once said, a "sweet duty."

2. The next finger is the pointing finger. Pray for those who teach, instruct and heal. This includes teachers, doctors, and ministers. They need support and wisdom in pointing others in the right direction. Keep them in your prayers.

3. The next finger is the tallest finger. It reminds us of our leaders. Pray for the president, leaders in business and industry, and administrators. These people shape our nation and guide public opinion. They need God's guidance.

4. The fourth finger is our ring finger. Surprising to many is the fact that this is our weakest finger; as any piano teacher will testify. It should remind us to pray for those who are weak, in trouble or in pain. They need your prayers day and night. You should pray much more for them.

5. And lastly comes our little finger; the smallest finger of all. Which is where we should place ourselves in relation to God and others, As the Bible says, "The least shall be the greatest among you." Your pinkie should remind you to pray for yourself. By the time you have prayed for the other four groups, your own needs will be put into proper perspective and you will be able to pray for yourself more effectively. Let’s make a decision and we start praying as I mentioned, God will brighten their life through our prayers! God Bless!

“At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me” [Matt 18:1-5].

ONLY WHAT'S DONE FOR CHRIST WILL LAST!

Alexander the Great, of Macedonia, was one of the greatest conquerors in human history. He established a vast empire spread over Asia and Africa and reached even the borders of India during his final conquest. At his deathbed, he instructed his close associates to leave his hands hanging free on either side of the coffin during his royal funeral process. That was to teach the world that he could carry nothing with him on his final journey. We fail to realize this truth till we reach the last moments in life. We waste a major share of our time, health and energy to amass fame, wealth and glory. Money may fetch us a bed, but not sleep; a car, but not safety; food, but not appetite; education, but not wisdom; medicines, but not health, a house but not a home; a violin, but not music. “Provide for yourselves purses that don’t wear out, and save your riches in heaven, where they will never decrease, because no thief can get to them and no moth can destroy them {Luke 12:33}.

DIVINE LOVE FOR OUR NEIGHBOURS!

A story is told about a soldier who was finally coming home after having fought in Vietnam. He called his parents from San Francisco. "Mom and Dad, I'm coming home, but I've a favor to ask. I have a friend I'd like to bring home with me." "Sure," they replied, "we'd love to meet him." "There's something you should know," the son continued, "he was hurt pretty badly in the fighting. He stepped on a land mind and lost an arm and a leg. He has nowhere else to go, and I want him to come live with us." "I'm sorry to hear that, son. Maybe we can help him find somewhere to live." "No, Mom and Dad, I want him to live with us." "Son," said the father, "you don't know what you're asking. Someone with such a handicap would be a terrible burden on us. We have our own lives to live, and we can't let something like this interfere with our lives. I think you should just come home and forget about this guy. He'll find a way to live on his own." At that point, the son hung up the phone. The parents heard nothing more from him. A few days later, however, they received a call from the San Francisco police. Their son had died after falling from a building, they were told. The police believed it was suicide. The grief-stricken parents flew to San Francisco and were taken to the city morgue to identify the body of their son. They recognized him, but to their horror they also discovered something they didn't know, their son had only one arm and one leg. The parents in this story are like many of us. We find it easy to love those who are good-looking or fun to have around, but we don't like people who inconvenience us or make us feel uncomfortable. We would rather stay away from people who aren't as healthy, beautiful, or smart as we are. Please share the love of God with every one you find on your way.

"Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates his brother is still in the darkness.Whoever loves his brother lives in the light, and there is nothing in him to make him stumble. But whoever hates his brother is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness; he does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded him" [I John 2:9-11].
